One Book One Marin

logo

One Book One Marin

One Book One Marin is part of an international One Book movement which encourages an entire community to read the same book at the same time and participate in discussion groups.

Multiple concepts were created connecting the idea of a single book with the iconic Marin County peak of Mount Tamalpais.

The logo that was chosen (top left) tied together the various print publications supporting the effort as well as the program's online presence.

The blue and green color scheme was also used to create a consisant look for the effort.

ExpoMuseum Web Sites

visual branding scheme for
multiple web sites

ExpoMuseum

ExpoMuseum's logo mirrors the feeling of many world's fair logos by using an optimistic, forward-looking shape. Inside this shape, are blue and yellow rays that represent the corner of an exhibition hall as well as lights in the sky, connecting it to both past and present international expositions.

The logo is designed to sit within the context of the web site. In print, the same framing treatment is used.

The design's basic shape and colors create a system for future sub-brands and language options.

2020 World's Fair

logo and associated visuals

2020WorldsFair.com

Created in 2006 to help promote the idea of a bid by the San Francisco Bay Area for the 2020 slot for an international exposition, the logo is based on the dodecahedron, one of the five regular solids.

The colors yellow, blue, and green represent the Sun, sky, and Earth. The woven lines represent different cultures coming together creating interconnections that then create the larger shape.
