Concurrent with the new print packaging initiative I headed up, I created a new Consumer Division section of the Velcro.com web site.
One necessary requirement of the site was that it maintain the existing navigation structure used for the rest of the company.
The color-coded package system I developed was continued on the site with color-coded sections highlighting the various features and benefits of Velcro's sub-brands.
Labeling on the new packaging directed consumers to the new site for more information and ideas..
Each section appeared as sheets of paper organized within manilla folders similar to those that someone might have at home, creating the basis for an extensive knowlege database.
