Expo 2005 Train Design

The selected design was one of seven I had submitted. The theme of the exposition, "Nature's Wisdom," was the inspiration for the colors in the design. The design was created to be viewed from both a distance as well as up close. In a train station, the colors will seem to change as you look at one point of the platform.

The award ceremony and unveiling of the design attracted the attention of national media. The design was featured on the covers of Japanese newspapers and on Japanese television.
